Followed by the original creation of the Chinese x French culinary philosophy which inspired the stunning trilogy of Abalone Pithivier, Fish Maw and Sea Cucumber, VEA Restaurant and Lounge debuts “Tribute to The Roots” series, a major event in the restaurant’s annual calendar that invites one master chef each year for a special collaboration. The first edition themed “Chinese Umami” headlines three-Michelin-starred Forum Restaurant for a first-ever brunch experience, to be held on 18th and 19th July, 2020.

Representing Forum Restaurant, Executive Chef Adam Wong is the last protege of internationally-acclaimed “King of Abalone” Yeung Koon-yat. He will be joined by Chef Vicky Cheng, chef and co-owner of VEA, where they will celebrate  the harmonious blend of modern Chinese x French ideologies, and classic Chinese culinary wisdom and heritage.
